The Rieke Bronze

A recent gift, from the estate of Iglehart Award-winner Fred Fortugno, is this spectacular bronze uniquely finished in “patinated” shades of green, white and brown to accent the detail. The artist, N.J. (Nancy) Rieke, has sculpted and painted since her early childhood, first working in wax to sculpt horses, dogs, cats and dancers. After formal art training and firsthand study of the works of North American and European masters, she has built a successful career based in California. Her works are collected and enjoyed around the world, especially by fans of equine art, and have appeared in feature films and television productions.
