William
T. Ylvisaker
His major triumphs include Chairmanship of the USPA, creation of the Polo Training Foundation, the Polo Newsletter and later ushering in the new Polo Magazine, establishing the World Cup and the stellar Palm Beach Polo and Country Club. Starting with an interscholastic Championship and captainship of Yale's polo team, he rose as an amateur to the rare height of seven goals. He has three US Open Championships to his name, two Coronation Cups, the Gold Cup, four National twenty-goals, numerous other national and international honors, and he has still not let up.
