Walter
Ray Harrington, Jr.
A superb horseman and an enviably agile player, Ray, "Mr. Inside-Out", matched his talents with true sportsmanlike conduct on and off the playing field. His record of seven US Open Championships stood unbroken for many years, and he still co-holds the record for four consecutive victories. Eight Twenty-Goal championships, two Monty Waterbury, titles, a place on the 1969 Cup of the Americas team, and many other trophies are his testimony to greatness.
